In celebration of World Down Syndrome Day on March 21, Woman’s Day New Zealand spoke to Leisel Shepherd about life as a Nutrimetics Consultant, and her love of serving up skincare tips. Down syndrome hasn’t stopped Leisel becoming one of Nutrimetics’ rising stars and a girl boss to be reckoned with.

Defying doctor’s ‘expectations’ for a bleak future, the 20-year-old has Down Syndrome but hasn’t let her developmental delays stop her from going into business as a Nutrimetics Consultant, serving up skincare tips to the many customers she’s become a hit with.”
About Leisel & Brenda
Brenda fell in love with Nutrimetics after attending just one Nutrimetics beauty treatment. When her daughter Leisel finished school, Brenda was so excited she also wanted to get involved. Leisel is now a Senior Consultant. Leisel will be celebrating World Down Syndrome Day by taking part in the annual Buddy Walk on 22nd March.
